Who we are

Multifamily is the whole business

Apex is a general contractor focused on multifamily renovation. Apartments and military housing are the core of the work, with hospitality, senior living, and fire restoration projects run through the same production system.

Our teams have completed more than 10,000 units. That volume shapes how Apex works: standardized scopes, materials bought out ahead of production, unit schedules built with the property team, and QA that holds up to real resident traffic.

The goal is simple—finished units back online on the dates we commit to, with as little disruption to residents and site staff as possible.

What we build

Five service lines, one contractor

Interior, exterior, and restoration scopes under a single contract—so owners are not coordinating separate vendors across the same building.

Full Unit Renovations

Vacant and occupied unit programs—kitchens, baths, flooring, lighting, paint, and finishes—run as a repeatable production package.

Fire Restoration

We handle fire and water damage reconstruction, with documentation that supports the insurance process.

CapEx

Roofing, siding, and window programs planned around occupied communities and ownership reporting.

Exterior & Envelope

Paint, siding, balconies, waterproofing, and envelope repairs that protect the building and lift curb appeal.

Special Projects

Amenity and clubhouse upgrades, adaptive reuse like the Georgetown Suites hotel-to-apartments conversion, and vacant one-off rebuilds.

How Apex runs a job

From the first walk to the final photo

The same seven-step process on a small unit renovation or a full community program. Each step has an owner on our side and a deliverable on yours.

  1. 01

    Walk & scope

Our teams walk the property and representative units with ownership and site staff, confirm conditions and access constraints, and write a scope tied to the asset plan.

  2. 02

    Estimate & bid package

A line-item estimate and bid package built around unit types and counts, so owners can compare scope, price, and schedule side by side.

  3. 03

    Procurement & material buyout

Finishes, fixtures, and materials are bought out and staged ahead of production, so unit starts are not waiting on deliveries.

  4. 04

    Unit scheduling & resident coordination

Occupied and vacant units are sequenced with property management—notices, access windows, and daily cleanup keep resident disruption to a minimum.

  5. 05

    Self-perform & trade management

Apex self-performs core scopes and manages specialty trades under one schedule, with field leadership on site running daily production.

  6. 06

    QA & punch

Every unit is checked against the scope before handoff. Punch items are logged, closed, and verified so issues do not land on the site team.

  7. 07

    Closeout with photos

Before-and-after photo documentation, completed punch, and a clean handover package—ready for leasing and for ownership reporting.
